We're RV shopping for possibly a travel trailer which would accommodate 2 passengers. Are there any good books available to find out what to look for? Which brands are most reliable for say 2006? What basic features are must haves?
Thanks so much for any help in this regard. ![]()

I don't know much about trailers, but over the years it seems that the Sunnybrook name continues to pop up as being about the best there is out there, and the most trouble free. I once did a net search on Sunnybrook, and was unable to find a single complaint regarding this brand. Give it a try and see what you turn up.

Hi NEWBY1286FRED,
Welcome to RVLivin. When you say "accommodate two passengers" I hope that you don't mean riding in it while traveling. If you are looking to ride in it you should be looking for a Class A (looks like a bus), B (looks like a van) or C (sleeping quarters over the cab). To answer your question, one resource is RV.org. It requires a membership and is somewhat controversial in some quarters. They compile data (which is available to anyone) about each unit and using mathematical formulas, rate it. It is not like Consumer Reports where they test it. They probably have never been in or near the one they are rating. I found the data very helpful and conclusions accurate when we were looking for the RV we currently have. I would start looking at them. Please don't be in a rush to purchase. It takes many months to explore them. The fastest that I have purchased one is 4 months. Yes you will get discouraged. If you miss a good deal, there will be plenty more. You will see things you like in some and things you don't. The one you choose will be a compromise. Ask questions. Someone here will answer. A good reference (and only a reference) is NADA.com or you can subscribe to a NADA Guide http://www.nadaguides.com/priceguides/ Again, welcome to RVLivin . Paul
