Dennis, I don't know much about diabetes.

I just know it never gets better, only worse. Your doing what the doctors, nurses, dieticians tell you can slow down the process.

I know people who have had the young person's diabetes who have had it for many years. They wouldn't survive unless they did what the medical people advise.

& I know medicine changes rapidly. New meds come along. Some prove out and some don't. With the Internet we can try to keep up and to check each one out, but we don't have the background those with medical training do. What we can do is ask the best questions we can think of.

& remember, this maybe your life for the duration, but also think of the alternative.
