LK,
We made it to Vicksburg, MS. The dry weather continues here. Not a drop of precip has fallen in weeks save the 6 drops we took pictures of in Hurricane Mills, TN. The temp's have fallen into the low 90's but the humidity has taken an extra rung up the ladder. I can't wait to reach Florida were the temp's are lower than where we've trod. I trust you are doing well and making your self a productive part of society. If so, get crackin' and get something done. Your wiling away the hours on the forums don't get the DO's hot and the great meals I know you're famous for put on the table. Just kiddin' my internet friend, just kiddin'. Take care and behalf yourself. HOB#1

What a strange hour of the day for Dana to be online.
Can't stand it outside, eh? Would you like your cave tour guide job back? That would get you as much as my air conditioning does me. Doing things to think move today. Thus, semi-productive. Do you do productive things now-a-days? How come so many rallies? 8) |

The rally thing is thrown in to meet some kindred spirits. At certain rallies, one can get items (usually three or four) repaired on one's RV while enjoying the festivities the rally has to offer. We are selective which rallies to attend. One criteria is they have to be in a locale that we've never been or would like to go.
As for my being productive, that's still under a high level of scrutiny and potential investigation. I'm usually prepared, however, since I always have my sittin' shoes on. Like my daddy would sometimes say, "Son, you're all potential." The underground thing I enjoy. Since I spent a good portion of my work career in hard rock mines and most of those underground, it would be a welcome return when weather such as the SE USA has been subjected to this summer bares down on the surface. Caves do provide a measure of relief although they do take on the average annual temp of the geographic area in which they are located. Revisiting the productive thing. I will soon return to getting physical when I reach Tallahassee, FL. I think the management of the park has some things in store for me to do since they are woefully short handed and a hiring freeze is beset them. I guess I'll have to don the cape and mask and come to rescue. Up, up and away! Yeow, right. The cape is tattered and the tights, well, they don't fit well if at all. OK, say it. I know you're dying to.

Ok, how long for Florida? How is this different from last year? Why not say, out in Arizona? Must do my real estate investigation for the week. :sun: |

More like a cubby Hulk except not green. I always wondered why some Super Heros wore capes. The tights thing has me curious too. We are slated to arrive in Tallahassee the first of the month. It will be different in that I may be doing some Ranger duties this time and some interpretive work as opposed to reconditioning picnic tables for the lake area as I did last season. I do have some dibs on some CG's in the Dakota's and Colorado. Arizona would work for the winter. However, they do have some freezing temps in various areas there during the winter months. Real estate. WOW! That's a daunting task for sure. I don't envy you. You may have to don your Wonder Woman outfit to weed through all the prospects and handle the real estate agents. Good luck for sure.

Weeding prioirities for real estate.
1. $ 2. 1 acre or more with good ground cover and such (low growing native plants in lawn, strawberries, high bush blueberries, fruit trees, & 10 other varieties of trees...) 3. Sound house structure, bunglow/ranch preferred 4. basement. Above in some combinations are musts. 5. 900 sq. feet or less 6. Not actually 'in town'. 7. less than 1 hour to either Charlottetown or Summerside. .......................................... nothing much. Can't bring myself to put my house out there until I know what I'm getting. :sun: |

The South East US holds ties on us. The wife's parents are aged and ailing. We have elected to stay a days drive from East TN for the time being. I don't want to sound crass but that tends to cramp our style somewhat and anchors us on a short tether. I would absolutely welcome the opportunity to revisit that area. It's been since '99 and '00 since we were out in the western US. Do RVLivin' folks have gatherings, rallies or the like or is it happenstance that individuals might see one another at some venue? I thought about having stickers made for the windshields of my moho and toad to display the logo and that I'm a member of this fine forum. Be careful young man and happy travels.
